I WAS JUST THINKING.....

Last month due to circumstances outside of my control I wasn’t able to run my funds through the Non-profit I was going through. At first this seemed tragic for me, but it was actually a blessing in disguise. On January 25, 2013 I begin the process of starting my own 501c3! I am very excited about moving forward with this process because I had been thinking about it for some time now. The final decision came down to having a peace about giving myself to prayer regardless of its expression. I would love to chat with you personally because I feel limited in expressing myself through this email. At this point in the process I am able to receive donations and you are able to receive tax credit if you so desire. I am in the process of setting up PayPal so that recurring giving can be an option. The name of my ministry came from 1 Corinthians 13, because we all know that everything needs to be love based. The name is The Way of Love Ministries. I am really excited for what God has in store for the days ahead. I will provide all the necessary information for giving at the end of this email. I would like to update you on what I have been up to and what is to come in the next few months. I am still highly involved at Every Home for Christ with the Prayer Corps (formally known as The Wall) I am there approx 20 hours a week. I am section leading/opening up the building 2 days a week, I am doing two 1 hour devotional sets a week, I am singing on a worship team twice a week, and the other time is made up of me praying for the lost, the staff, our national and regional directors and encouraging other Prayer Corps Missionaries. On a side note a Prayer Corps Missionary is someone who is committing to being in the prayer room for at least 12 hours a week. I am committed to helping out the following two ministries; Mercy’s Gate www.mercysgatecs.org Mercy’s Gate began 30 years ago as a food pantry called Northern Churches Care. Our mission was to join together to love our neighbors in Colorado Springs by helping with their emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual needs. Every week, through our member churches and faithful volunteers and staff, we provide much-needed food, clothing, help with utilities and rent, medical assistance . . . and most importantly, spiritual care and emotional support. High Place Ministries www.highplaceministries.org is a ministry dedicated to healing and deliverance for the Body, Soul and Spirit. Our desire is to come along side the Body of Christ and all who are in need, to see them set free from the 'altars' of sickness, disease, trauma and emotional wounding set up in their lives by the enemy. So on a weekly basis I am working about 30 hours between EHC, Mercy’s Gate, and High Place Ministries. I love the new schedule because it has been refreshing for me to be in the place of prayer and also intentionally ministering to the lost, poor, and broken. The rest of the time I am at home with my girls. Hilda continues to volunteer at Zion’s school; Queen Palmer. She is the Volunteer Coordinator and PTO president. So she is pretty busy at home with Zaria and at the school. Zion is in the 5th grade and doing very well in school. Straight A student, involved in band playing the clarinet and is in a couple of extracurricular activities at school. Zaria is 2 ½ and has entered the world of potty training and she is enjoying everything that is associated with being a toddler. Please continue to pray for our family that we would continue to grow in love for Christ and each other. Blessings, Jerome
