I WAS JUST THINKING.....

I pray that this update finds you walking in the fullness of His of love, joy and peace. While spending time in prayer for you as my financial and prayer partner’s two passages of scriptures were highlighted. Jeremiah 33:3-Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. Song of Solomon 2:14-O my dove, in the cleft of the rock, in the crannies of the cliff, let me hear your voice, for you voice is sweet, and your face is lovely. There is an invitation from the Lord to call to Him. Why? Because He wants to hear your voice and He wants to see your face. I dare to take it further and say that He not only wants to hear you call to Him but He loves it. Yahweh, the One from the beginning, the one who is the soon and coming King, the creator of Heaven and Earth lends His ear to weak and feeble humans. The creator beckoning His creation to come set aside time to ask, seek, and knock. This blows me away and encourages my daily prayer times. And just to take it a step further He hears and then responds and reveals things that we didn't know. WOW! I pray that this encourages you, and stirs you to have a “little talk” with Jesus; your friend, your redeemer, your comforter, your present help in the time of trouble, the Lover of your soul. The last three months I have felt this tension in my heart that made me a bit uncomfortable. I love sitting in the prayer room, singing, and meditating on the beauty of the Lord. But I felt a shift within my heart that I didn't immediately understand. I had this longing to see the body of Christ equipped and mobilized to pray. After much seeking, crying and working through misunderstanding I feel like the vision in my heart has been redefined. When I first moved to Colorado Springs I had just left a season of building the local house of prayer and serving the Body of Christ in Michigan. I dove into building the Lord a resting place but neglected serving His bride. I misunderstood the Lord's wooing for me to serve in a greater capacity. I at first thought that He was calling me away from sitting in the prayer room because I had this strong desire to actually go out and do other things. This may seem strange to some but keep in mind that for the past 3 years I have sat in a room (sometimes empty) and just poured out my love to Him through song and intercession. About six months ago I was at an altar call and as the minister was praying over me she saw me as a Cedar of Lebanon that was rooted and being fed. She then saw the tree with feet and it began to walk around to different places and eventually it became a table (a place of encounter for people). I just jotted this down in my journal and didn't think much of it until recently. I feel that is the season for this word, and I am sure that it will continue to unfold in ways that I can’t see yet. While serving as a Prayer Corps Missionary at Every Home for Christ, and running with a couple of other ministries in the city, I will be joining other places that are stirred to pray by coming along side them and using all that I have learned during my time of just simply sitting at His feet. Hilda and the Girls finished up the school year successfully. Zion Graduated from the 5th grade and the teachers say that because Zaria was at the school so much with Hilda that she graduated also. Hilda served as PTO President, Volunteer Coordinator, and the school rep for District 11's accountability committee. The girls will be missed because of the impact that they had at the school. We are looking forward to what the next season of life will bring. This fall Zion will begin her journey to middle school and in the fall Hilda will be enrolling in school to finish up her degree in music education. We are glad that you are in our lives and we look forward to connecting with you on a more personal level. We appreciate your partnership; we know that we would not be able to be fully given to the work of the Lord without you. Prayer requests: *Please continue to pray for our marriage *Please continue to pray for our daughters *Please continue to pray for our partnership team to grow *Please continue to pray for Colorado Springs (we know God has a good plan for our city)

I WAS JUST THINKING.....

Last month due to circumstances outside of my control I wasn’t able to run my funds through the Non-profit I was going through. At first this seemed tragic for me, but it was actually a blessing in disguise. On January 25, 2013 I begin the process of starting my own 501c3! I am very excited about moving forward with this process because I had been thinking about it for some time now. The final decision came down to having a peace about giving myself to prayer regardless of its expression. I would love to chat with you personally because I feel limited in expressing myself through this email. At this point in the process I am able to receive donations and you are able to receive tax credit if you so desire. I am in the process of setting up PayPal so that recurring giving can be an option. The name of my ministry came from 1 Corinthians 13, because we all know that everything needs to be love based. The name is The Way of Love Ministries. I am really excited for what God has in store for the days ahead. I will provide all the necessary information for giving at the end of this email. I would like to update you on what I have been up to and what is to come in the next few months. I am still highly involved at Every Home for Christ with the Prayer Corps (formally known as The Wall) I am there approx 20 hours a week. I am section leading/opening up the building 2 days a week, I am doing two 1 hour devotional sets a week, I am singing on a worship team twice a week, and the other time is made up of me praying for the lost, the staff, our national and regional directors and encouraging other Prayer Corps Missionaries. On a side note a Prayer Corps Missionary is someone who is committing to being in the prayer room for at least 12 hours a week. I am committed to helping out the following two ministries; Mercy’s Gate www.mercysgatecs.org Mercy’s Gate began 30 years ago as a food pantry called Northern Churches Care. Our mission was to join together to love our neighbors in Colorado Springs by helping with their emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual needs. Every week, through our member churches and faithful volunteers and staff, we provide much-needed food, clothing, help with utilities and rent, medical assistance . . . and most importantly, spiritual care and emotional support. High Place Ministries www.highplaceministries.org is a ministry dedicated to healing and deliverance for the Body, Soul and Spirit. Our desire is to come along side the Body of Christ and all who are in need, to see them set free from the 'altars' of sickness, disease, trauma and emotional wounding set up in their lives by the enemy. So on a weekly basis I am working about 30 hours between EHC, Mercy’s Gate, and High Place Ministries. I love the new schedule because it has been refreshing for me to be in the place of prayer and also intentionally ministering to the lost, poor, and broken. The rest of the time I am at home with my girls. Hilda continues to volunteer at Zion’s school; Queen Palmer. She is the Volunteer Coordinator and PTO president. So she is pretty busy at home with Zaria and at the school. Zion is in the 5th grade and doing very well in school. Straight A student, involved in band playing the clarinet and is in a couple of extracurricular activities at school. Zaria is 2 ½ and has entered the world of potty training and she is enjoying everything that is associated with being a toddler. Please continue to pray for our family that we would continue to grow in love for Christ and each other. Blessings, Jerome

I WAS JUST THIKING.....

Here is a really good word to start the year off with. ENJOY! WAY OF PROGRESSION by MARSHA BURNS: Following is some prophetic understanding of what is in store for us in 2013: Greater revelation and insights will come with regard to the work of the Spirit.Spiritual hunger will develop for those who deliberately feed on spiritual substance and maintain focus by keeping thoughts on things of the Spirit. This will create rapid growth. Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. Train your spiritual muscle through repeated exercise and discipline. The outcome will be worth the effort.Whether you realize it or not, you have been in a time of intense spiritual training. Even though you have experienced great trials, you are now stronger in faith and perseverance than ever.Watch for a new level of anointing and a greater sense of purpose, which will release a wave of expectation and joy. I am bringing you to a new place of effectiveness, not only in life experience, but in spiritual awareness as well. Go with the flow. I will lead the way, says the Lord.Spiritual maturity will come when reactions in the flesh are overcome. Live in spiritual reality by taking the time to know the difference between flesh and Spirit. There will be a more pronounced separation between the chosen, faithful followers of Christ who walk in the Spirit and the religious, carnal Christians. 2 Corinthians 6:17 Therefore "Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you." Proverbs 3:25-26 Do not be afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes; for the LORD will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being caught. Be on the alert for temptations to believe lies that lead to fear. False Evidence Appearing Real Many prophets who have lost their voice, so to speak, will find it again and bring forth profound prophetic direction to the Body of Christ.Spiritual vision will also be more profound in the way of prophetic dreams, visions, wisdom and understanding in accessing the realms of glory. Ephesians 1:17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. Many have received prophetic words in the past that have not come to fruition. A great number of those words emanated from the flesh or carnal understanding and became fantasy. Those false promises must be released so that focus on spiritual reality can be re-established. It is time to be released from the bondage of disappointment. Stay in the present and stop waiting for or expecting fulfillment that only exists in the future. Now is the time to simplify areas of life that have become complex. At the same time a greater sense of security and order will be established. Proverbs 1:33 But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, and will be secure, without fear of evil." I am making a way for you to come to a level of stability, the likes of which you have never known. This stability will produce clarity and greater ease in accomplishing all that I have given you responsibility for, says the Lord.Don’t disdain the challenges that present themselves. Learn obedience through suffering. Identify and restate the nature of the challenge to discern and understand the path of obedience. Hebrews 5:8 though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. Forgive and release others. Unforgiveness will obstruct blessing and prosperity in the Kingdom. You will continue to have ample opportunities to overcome offense and to forgive when rejection arises. This will strengthen your spiritual position and remove hindering assignments.Let Me deal with those places where you have something to prove. This stems from pride as a way of dealing with insecurity and rejection. But, you are neither insecure nor rejected in My kingdom. Let your trust in Me become as solid as the cornerstone of your foundation. I am your strength in weakness; your help in times of trouble, says the Lord. You can now make excellent progress in walking in the Spirit instead of allowing negativity to rule. Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. Allow Me to enter into your need with a blessing. In order to do so, you must deal with your fear of lack. Trust Me to provide so that you lack nothing, says the Lord. You have been set and established in the realm of blessing. What I bless is blessed, and no man can undermine or derail you from My plans and purposes. I have chosen you and will do all of My will. My word shall not return to Me void. Isaiah 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the
