I WAS JUST THINKING.....

Will you be undone?

This morning while in The Prayer Room I had a vision of Jesus' side. I saw where he was pierced and it was as if he opened it up to me to allow me to see it for myself. This really messed me up, the fact that He went to such extreme so we could be reconciled. I wept and wept over this truth, and because of this overwhelming love. I want to encourage you to re-read about the Crucifixion. It's more than just a story. It's real!

He had you in mind. You were the joy that was set before Him! THIS IS LOVE!

This is a picture of just how wide and long and high and deep the love of Christ is.

This is a picture of love that surpasses knowledge.

This is a picture of nothing can separate you from His love.

This is a picture of Him being full of compassion and abounding in love.

This is a picture of mercy that is new every morning.

I began to to read the Matthew Henry commentary on John 19 and this is one of the things that it said about Jesus being pierced in the side: Through this window, opened in Christ’s side, you may look into his heart, and see love flaming there, love strong as death; see our names written there. \As I am writing this I am sitting in the prayer room and the Worship Leader is singing the song of the Lord over the room. "Come my dove and hide in the cleft of the rock, come and hide in this truth, let me hide you in this truth." And it only gets better! Yes He died, but HE GOT UP! AND HE IS RETURNING!

I had a thought that surprised me while The Lord was unfolding this. I said to myself. "He is ruining my make up." I was like, okay am I going crazy? But after I thought about this, I realized that this is so true. I could hear people walking into the prayer room, and I knew because of where I was sitting that they could see me weeping. (I knew that I looked a mess) This make up I am referring to obviously isn't cosmetics, but things that I use to make up an image, to be macho, etc....Allow Him to cause you to be undone in His presence, in His goodness, and in the revelation of just how much He loves you!

I WAS JUST THINKING.....

Family Prayer Guide for the month of May

Praying for the Unbelievers in our family.

This month I wanted us to pray for and focus on the unbelievers in our family. 2 Peter 3:9 says "The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." Lets also pray for those who are backslidden and also lets spend some time lifting up the name of Jesus, the word says in John 12:32 that "if I be lifted up I will draw all men unto me."

Please let me know your thoughts about the Family Prayer Guide. What works, what doesn't work? How could it be better?
